Erica Helmle joined the Children’s Law Center as a staff attorney in 2023. Erica primarily serves as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for children in Kentucky custody cases.

Prior to joining CLC, Erica worked in the general counsel’s office of a large law firm and at ProSeniors, a nonprofit serving Ohio seniors. Erica served as a GAL and a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in a volunteer capacity from 2013 to 2019. Erica attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law. While there, she interned at CLC, the Warren County Domestic Relations Court, and a domestic violence civil protection order clinic.
