MORE TO DO: REGIONAL POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY AND PUBLIC SAFETY CONFERENCE
June 6-8, 2024
Day 1: 1819 Innovation Hub, University of Cincinnati | 2900 Reading Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45206
Day 2 & 3: New Prospect Baptist Church | 1580 Summit Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45237
Presented by Cincinnati Black United Front, City of Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati Journomentary Project, and Children’s Law Center.
Welcome to a convening on public safety strategies that center the community. This conference brings together the whole community—parents, teachers, social service agencies, lawyers and judges, medical professionals, nonprofits, law enforcement, faith communities, youth, elected officials, and other stakeholders—to learn about ways we can improve safety and increase justice. Attendees will have chances to learn from national, statewide, and local experts; foster collaboration; ask the tough questions; raise awareness about public safety and police accountability issues in Greater Cincinnati; and gain more knowledge, skills, and connections to improve our region!
After the development of the historic Collaborative Agreement and Refresh, there is more to do. Thank you for being here, so we can take the next steps to help our community take its next steps strategically and effectively.
